The Light in the Darkness

 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1: 1-5

Jesus, you are the Light of the world. You have always been with and in God, forever complete and constant. Still, because of your great love, you became flesh to rescue us from the darkness. We are so thankful that you are the eternal light in the darkness. Your light leads us home. We praise you today for your consistency, for your patience, and your relentless love for us. Amen
